OF WORK
In contrary to other painters who work outside on real models, I can only paint in a workshop.
In this place I make a selection among my whole collected elements through sketch, pictures and documentations, in order to determine the subject.
Working on Provence:
Starting from an element taken from reality, the imaginary structures its environment.
The creation of the vegetation is instinctive and I discover it while I create it.
Particular work related to portraits, carried out in 2 ways:
* Creation on order starting from a picture of the subject: there I am not allowed to do variation on the topic.
The subject is accurately reproduced. Only environment can be imagined.
* Creation of single works starting from pictures of characters of the world.
* its environment can be created starting from mixed techniques (gold sheet, powders marble, fabric, etc.)
* This work is more particularly reserved for canvas about children of the world, to support caritative works.
